Account Name and Identity Verification Policy

Atlant Trade requires customers to provide accurate personal information when creating and verifying an account. The name on your Atlant Trade profile should match your legal name as shown on a valid government-issued ID. This protects customers, prevents unauthorized account use, and supports identity, payment and withdrawal checks.

Below: the name requirements, how discrepancies are handled, and what to do if your information needs correcting.

Why Accurate Information Matters

Accurate account information helps Atlant Trade:

  • Confirm an account belongs to the person using it
  • Prevent identity theft and unauthorized access
  • Detect fraudulent or duplicate accounts
  • Complete identity and security checks
  • Review deposits and withdrawals
  • Meet anti-money-laundering and fraud-prevention obligations
  • Protect customers, employees and payment partners

False, misleading or incomplete information may lead to extra verification steps, processing delays, or account restrictions.

Name Requirements

Enter your full legal name exactly as it appears on your current ID document. Don't use:

  • Nicknames or usernames
  • Invented or false names
  • Another person's name
  • Unexplained initials
  • Symbols or decorative characters
  • A business or company name for a personal account
  • Intentionally incomplete information

The registered name must belong to the person who actually controls and uses the account.

When Your Name Doesn't Exactly Match Your ID

During verification, Atlant Trade compares your profile name against your submitted document. Minor differences don't automatically indicate fraud — they can arise from:

  • Transliteration between alphabets
  • An included or omitted middle name
  • Different given-name/surname ordering
  • Spacing or punctuation
  • A marriage or other legal name change
  • A typo made at registration
  • Regional naming conventions

These discrepancies may require manual review or extra documents. If this happens, contact support directly rather than opening another account or submitting altered documents.

Fixing a Typo in Your Name

Spot a spelling mistake in your registered name? Contact support as soon as possible. You may be asked for:

  • A valid government-issued ID
  • A photo or video verification
  • Confirmation of your registered email or phone number
  • An explanation of the requested correction
  • Any other information needed to protect the account

Certain account functions may be restricted while the correction is under review. Whether a correction is possible depends on the nature of the discrepancy, your account's verification status, and applicable security requirements. Don't open a second account to fix an error unless support specifically tells you to.

Legal Name Changes

If you've legally changed your name, request an account update through official support. Supporting documents may include:

  • An updated passport or ID card
  • A marriage certificate
  • A divorce certificate
  • A court order
  • Another official document confirming the change

Atlant Trade may verify both your previous and current names before updating the account.

Payment and Withdrawal Details

Where required, the name on a bank account, payment method, or withdrawal destination should match your verified Atlant Trade identity. Using another person's payment details can lead to:

  • Extra verification
  • Delayed processing
  • A rejected or returned transaction
  • Temporary deposit/withdrawal restrictions
  • A fraud-prevention review

Use only payment methods you own and control. Any exception must be explicitly permitted by the platform's current terms and payment rules.

False or Misleading Information

Atlant Trade may investigate an account when there are reasonable grounds to believe it was registered with:

  • A false or stolen identity
  • Another person's documents
  • Deliberately inaccurate information
  • Manipulated or forged documents
  • Information meant to dodge verification
  • Multiple identities used to bypass platform restrictions

Depending on the situation, Atlant Trade may:

  • Request more documents
  • Temporarily restrict affected account functions
  • Reject a transaction
  • Suspend the account
  • Terminate access

Serious suspected fraud, identity theft or unlawful activity may also be reported to the relevant payment provider or authority where legally required.

How This Affects Your Funds

A name discrepancy does not automatically mean your funds are forfeited. Any balance, open position, pending withdrawal or returned payment is handled under the applicable Client Agreement, identity-verification requirements, withdrawal and refund conditions, AML and fraud-prevention procedures, payment-provider requirements, and applicable law.

Withdrawals may be delayed while Atlant Trade confirms your identity, investigates suspected fraud, or completes a required compliance review. A withdrawal may not process until you've provided enough information to establish ownership of the account and the relevant funds.

If Verification Fails Due to a Name Mismatch

  1. Review the name entered in your profile
  2. Compare it with your current ID document
  3. Check whether the difference is spelling, transliteration, or name order
  4. Contact Atlant Trade through an official support channel
  5. Explain the discrepancy clearly
  6. Provide the requested original documents
  7. Wait for the review before submitting another verification or withdrawal request

Submitting repeated applications with conflicting information can delay the review.

Protecting Your Personal Information

Only submit identity documents through official Atlant Trade verification or support channels. Never disclose:

  • Your account password
  • A one-time verification code
  • A crypto wallet seed phrase
  • Remote device access
  • Payment-card security codes outside an authorized payment form

Be cautious of anyone claiming a separate payment is needed to correct your name, complete verification, or release a withdrawal — confirm any such request directly with official support.

Before You Register

  • Enter your full legal name
  • Double-check the spelling
  • Follow your ID document's name order where possible
  • Use your own email and phone number
  • Don't register on someone else's behalf
  • Make sure your ID is valid and readable
  • Review everything before confirming the account

A few extra moments here can save you delays later during verification and withdrawals.

Final Reminder

Atlant Trade customers must provide truthful, accurate personal information matching their legal identity. Genuine spelling mistakes, transliteration differences and legal name changes may need review — but always go through official support rather than opening duplicate accounts or submitting inaccurate documents. False identities, forged documents, and deliberate attempts to dodge verification may lead to account restrictions or termination. All decisions affecting customer funds remain subject to the applicable agreement, verification procedures, and legal obligations.
